You're reading the first fortune0 newsletter. If you're here, you probably believe the same thing we do: the best ideas shouldn't need permission to exist.
Traditional incubators pick winners. VCs pick winners. Accelerators pick winners. Someone, somewhere, decides which ideas deserve resources and attention. Everyone else gets a polite rejection email.
We think that's backwards.
What is fortune0?
fortune0 is a place where ideas live or die based on one thing: whether enough people believe in them to pledge support. No pitch decks. No warm intros. No gatekeepers.
Here's how it works:
- Someone posts an idea. Could be a product, a project, a company, a movement—anything.
- The clock starts. Every idea has a countdown. If it doesn't reach its pledge threshold before time runs out, it disappears.
- People pledge. $1, $5, or $10. Not to buy anything—just to say "I think this should exist."
- Ideas that hit their threshold survive. They get more time. More visibility. A chance to become real.
We need your ideas
Here's the ask: What would YOU put on fortune0?
You're already paying $1/month. That means you get it. You understand that ideas have value before they become products. So what idea have you been sitting on? What would you want to see exist in the world?
Reply to this email with:
1. Your idea (one sentence)
2. Why it matters (one sentence)
3. What you'd sell for $1 (optional - could be advice, a template, access to something)
The best submissions become the first real ideas on fortune0. Your name attached. Your idea in front of everyone who joins after you.
You're not just a subscriber. You're a founding member.
